Ecosystems/Biodiversity Impacts: Water Cycle Changes

Climate change can impact the frequency, kinds, amounts and seasonality of precipitation. Major changes in local precipitation patterns can cause significant changes to ecosystems and biodiversity. Most ecosystems are sensitive to changes in precipitation.
